Applications
Back Scattering Interferometry (BSI) has broad application in life science research including small molecule drug discovery, biotherapeutic drug discovery, basic research, and mechanism of action studies.
Currently, MSI is focusing on drug discovery applications, specifically small molecule — complex target interaction characterization. MSI will publish data on additional applications in the near future, but in the meantime if you have specific research areas of interest that you would like to discuss, please contact us and we would be happy to review how BSI could support your efforts.

ALLOSTERIC TARGETS
Direct binding quantification of low molecular weight ligands to ortho- and allosteric integral membrane protein and protein complex binding sites, under conditions where other technologies fail.
SECONDARY SCREENING
Direct binding confirmation of drug candidates from an HTS screen to the target of interest is critical to verification of a suspected MOA.
COMPLEX TARGETS
Complex drug targets for a large range of target classes have been successfully characterized in projects with major pharmaceutical companies.
